Re: Reward points do not add unless admin manually do that

Correct.
There are reasons for and against, but it is the way it is.
Google it, and you find any number of extensions that will add them automatically.

Re: Customer image upload

You might need to be a bit more specific.
If it is just an image upload then there is a file upload product option, but if you want to have a design interface for the customer then google "opencart product designer"

Re: Open product in new tab

I'd suggest the template files (xxx.twig).

Which template files is entirely dependent on where you want the new tab to be opened from.

Re: Controller Files Keep Caching OC 3.0.3.2

that is not a cache.
That is why the word 'cached' is in quotes. It makes colloquial sense, in English, whereby putting the word in quotes is suggestive of the implied meaning where it is known that said word is being used in an informal way for the sake of ease.

Re: Controller Files Keep Caching OC 3.0.3.2

You already have an ocmod that is altering that/those files and those files do get 'cached'. When you make an alteration to a default file, then yes, you have to refresh the modification cache. OCMODS create new files when the Modification Cache is refreshed - it takes the default file, adds the cha...

Re: Need documentation for seller API

At best, by always first mention the OC Version and Theme used, It is not an Opencart store issue, it's an opencart website issue, so all of that is irrelevant. For people that sell extensions in the marketplace, there is an API to get some information on the sale. See this topic https://forum.open...

Re: Opencart 3.0.3.3 - Images not showing

Possibly because your server is running unix/linux which is case sensitive.

If running Appache for the webserver, could try adding the mime type to the .htaccess and see if that works.

AddType image/jpeg .JPG

Re: A rookie question ...MySQL in differente hosting..

That should work in theory, but I suspect that it might be a little slow.

Also, remember that the database user that you create will need to have remote access permissions.

Re: Cloud Plugin Approval?

I do add my extensions to the cloud version where suitable and in fact have gone to the trouble to make them cloud-able, this is more for the sake of it and with an eye to the possibility it may actually, eventually, possibly become an actual thing, and then at least I'm ahead of the curve so to spe...

Re: Take payment for non-online store sales using Opencart Commbank Website payment gateway

I don't entirely follow your reasoning.... So, the direct sales, are they instore, in person? Are they telesales? The payment gateway, do they pay directly on your site or do they get taken to the banks website to make the payment. I would have though that commbank would have a solution for you such...

Re: opencart 3.0.3.x default template home page issue

First off, the default layout is only going to work where no other layouts exist. Typically, this happens when a new page is added by an extension and you end up with the account module showing up as the account modules are the default for the default layout of a default opencart installation. Secon...

Re: Extension reviews

Hi Go to your account, There is a "Rate your downloads" section. I've got that bit, but the issue is that the reviews don't actually show up on the extension pages. Some extensions have many reviews but only 1 can be seen at the bottom of the extension description, which I assume is the latest revi...

Extension reviews

Maybe it is me, maybe I'm just being stupid, but where are the Marketplace Extension reviews? Looking through the extension store, lots of extensions have multiple reviews listed (5* 27 reviews) but I can't find them anywhere.... Except for what I presume is the latest one that is featured at the bo...

Re: New to job. Haven't used Opencart before. Need help fixing links

I might be wrong and someone might know exactly what you are talking about, but I think you might need to provide a more exact description of the problems rather than just an overview or a link to the site.

Re: Check in header if 'thank you' page

By adding some code the the header.php file such as:

Code: Select all

if (isset($this->request->get['route']) && $this->request->get['route'] == 'checkout/success') {
	$data['my_message'] = 'This is my message';
} else {
	$data['my_message'] = '';

Re: Save Button Not Working

Unlikely to get an answer as it is not a default opencart page so we won't know about the what or where of any files or code.

You should look towards the extension provider or request commercial help.

Re: Opencart "Customers online" versus google analytics

Can't much help with #2 anyway, but as for #1, google has $billions, massive amounts of technology, access to masive amounts of data and they can work out what is "Real" traffic as opposed to bots, search engines, web crawlers, bot nets, spammers, hack attemps etc etc. A lot of the traffic is likely...

Re: Quantity increments by minimum quantity

On the basis that is exactly what the step does then if you use the minimum as your first step value then you could do: <input type="number" step="<?php echo $minimum; ?>" Then of course you need to prevent manual input in the to box and prevent update in the cart, so not really the solution that yo...

Re: Product options quantity and text

Change

Code: Select all

'name'   => $option_value['name']
to

Code: Select all

'name'   => $option_value['name']  . ' (' . ($option_value['quantity'] >= 1 ? $option_value['quantity'] : 'Sold Out') . ')',
Perhaps?
