The error is caused by the Php Version 7.2, but I didn't found a solution. The change which was descriped before didn't worked

ok this is now embarrassing.... Normal: rewrite is on and must be actived by .htaccess BUT (now the embarrasing part): when you write .htaccess.txt it doesn't work (of course). Filezilla seems to rename the file to a .txt file during transfer and I didn't checked it (or oversaw it). ok it never happ...

It could of been the UTF-8 BOM character at the start of the file. If you have been using an editor make sure the encoding is UTF-8 without BOM or save the files without a UTF-8 BOM.
