Re: another one with mail problem

1. Use the ssl:// prefix in the SMTP Hostname and port 465. This will tell OpenCart/PHP in use Implicit TLS encryption on port 465. Or. 2. Use the tls:// prefix in the SMTP Hostname and port 587. This will tell OpenCart/PHP to connect normally to port 587 and use the STARTTLS command to upgrade the ...

Re: Line break missing in Text Area

You would need to modify the admin/controller/sale/order.php controller and pass the text option through the nl2br function.

Or modify the admin/view/template/sale/order_info.twig template and use the Twig nl2br.

Re: SMTP conection error

- according to Plesk it's 587 but I tried the others, all the same - mail. but I tried smtp. too, as well as trying ssh:// or shl:// prefixes - yes - yes - yes, all good points to my IP and also very fast 0.02-0.06 as an average. I know I am ignorant about it but since everything is fine connecting...

Re: Customer not receiving order confirmation

Thanks for the reply I moved hosting a while back to save some £££. But I left my domain with the original hosting company. I had some issues with SMTP mail a while back that were unresolved and realise now this is where the error lies. I was able to update the SPF records which seemed to improve t...

Re: Shipping Address mysteriously changed

Some payment gateways do allow the customer to change the shipping address on the payment page. It could be that the payment module doesn't always update the order with the new address. If the problem is always with the same payment module and the address is correct on the email sent from the paymen...

Re: Customer not receiving order confirmation

Customer Notified being No would be correct for the first status. The admin order email is sent just after the customer one in the same function. So assuming you own mail account is on the same server it could be that you server isn't sending any mail to remote addresses. Could also be the messages ...

Re: MAIL FROM not accepted from server!

With `ssl://smtp.migadu.com` and port `465`, and the emails all matching , I was able to have my contact form send an email properly! I must still have an issue somewhere however, because updating orders, and checking "notify customer" doesn't email them. There are no errors reported in the logs ei...

Re: SMTP conection error

Yes, MAIL in Opencart works but I want to use SMTP On my local machine (I use Mac' Mail as mailclient on Macbook pro) I can send email and retrieve mail from my server. When I then switch to SMTP in Opencart and input the exact same connection data, I can't send any mail on the store front, using t...

Re: SMTP conection error

Your server can't connect to your SMTP hostname. So your hostname is either wrong or there is a problem on your server's DNS lookup. Hm. Doesn't make sense because I can use Mail on my Mac to SMTP connect, receive and send mail direct from Mail. Am I something missing here? I should be putting in t...

Re: New layout issue

The layout editor can be a bit strange. You have to make sure you click the + to add a box before adding a module, as only the ones with the pencil edit icon will save. I did a quick test in OpenCart 3.0.3.2 with the default theme. Added a new layout called "Subcategory", set to the default store an...

Re: New layout issue

Yep. HTML Content. My first bet. But, as I said, doesn't work. ZEMEZ claims that has nothing to do with their theme. May just have to leave it or else this drags on for the next few years. Thanks anyway, Are you able to temporally switch to the default OpenCart theme and see if that has the same is...

You may need to check your PHP error log as well as your OpenCart one. You should also check you servers MTA (mail transfer agent) logs. Re: Customers Can't Login

Looking at the link you posted. It looks like a browser caching issue. You expires header in the response is set a month in advance. This means your web browser will probably not bother reloading the page one logged in. There is a bug in OpenCart 3 in that it doesn't set appropriate cache control he...
