I think, you need to add all events related to mail. This should resolve the issue.

Hi, After enabling them in extension, they also need to be set in page layouts. Just go to Admin -> Design -> Layouts & select Home layout & select the module you want to set under specific page layout section. Note:- Don't forget to click on button with + icon after selecting module. thanks

Hi,
In opencart 3.x emails are being sent using Events. Please check if you have imported all events files or not. You can also check different types of event in admin section as well, just go to Extensions -> Events. If you found events there then i suggest to take a look in code.

Try to remove that $5 from that account or you can use another account with no credit balance, see if the issue persist or not.
