Mark this topic as solved if you have no more issues.
How do you mark a topic as solved?

There doesn't seem to be any button on this website saying "solved".

Re: Categories problems in MySQL data

I dumped a copy of the database back end into a text file. Then I used the admin page of Opencart to fix one category. Then I dumped another copy of the database back end. I installed Kompare (because it's a wrapper for the diff command) . I found the differences in the back end before and after I ...

Re: Categories problems in MySQL data

What Java code?
My Java code. I just did some computer programming and wrote an application in Java to insert products into the MySQL database from a text file. It just has those two little problems I mentioned in my original post.

character set UTF8MB3

I was working on the MySQL back end and it gave me a warning. WARNING: #3778 'uft8_general_ci' is a collation of the deprecated character set UTF8MB3. Please consider using UTF8MB4 with an appropriate collation instead. I was creating tables that were the same as the Opencart tables and it told me t...

Re: Security requirements

I've been reading the PCI documentation and it looks like everyone who is running a webshop needs to be PCI compliant. Most companies will be small enough to be classified as compliant level 4 (unless you have over 20,000 transactions per year, plus other criteria), so they will only have to do a SA...

Re: Security requirements

I've found out about the PCI Security Standards Council and it seems to be a little more robust than just using an SSL. https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org Why is their document library so extensive if the only thing I need to do is manage an SSL? Looks like the PCI SSC is saying it's complicated a...

Re: Fresh installation Blank page 3 after tables created

I looked in system/storage/logs/error.log

There was nothing in the logs from today, just a few entries from a few days ago when I got the password wrong.

What does the installation do after it has created the tables?

Fresh installation Blank page 3 after tables created

Version 3.0.3.2 On a fresh installation after step 3, I get a blank page. This is not a duplicate of other similar posts because I've check the tables that have been created in the back end.
