Re: Journal, Journal 2, Journal 3

I've only commented on this thread once so far, I'm running Journal 2. It was recommended, supplied and installed by an OpenCart Partner, from the Open Cart Partners directory, who did our latest installation of Opencart If it is so shit, maybe you need to tell your Partners! We are not all coding G...

Chrome advertising pop up

This isn't specifically a fault within Opencart, but it has just come to light whilst testing a menu configuration. The menu structure I have created has a brand name in the top menu, which when clicked, opens up a sub menu list. For example. SONY - TV's - DVD Players - Hi-Fi Amps The brand name has...

Re: Journal 2 Documentation

Thanks, but I was kind of hoping I could find and print to PDF the documents for ongoing reference so that I didn't need to keep asking people for answers to what some would feel are daft questions.

Re: multiple requests for random .zip files possibly from a BOT?

I think I've cured it.

We have a 301 Redirect module installed and I used that to redirect */*.zip and */*.csv to an image hosted off my server.

Seems to have stopped them.

Journal 2 Documentation

Hi
not sure if this should be under modules or themes?

We've got Journal 2 installed and I need to do a few tweaks.

On clicking on the Documentation link in admin, it links to Journal 3 documentation which is different.

Does anyone have a link to the older documentation?

Cheers

Export V1513 customer database into second user group on an existing V2302 Multistore installation

Hi I have two existing stores running, one is an older site I originally set up to just test Opencart with, but has actually turned into a viable shop with repeat customers. The second store is running on a separate V2.3.0.2 installation. I want to transfer the customer database from the V1513 store...

Multistore, different themes and the default theme is missing...

my current Opencart website, v2.3.0.2 was installed and configured for me by a third party onto our existing server. The third party offered and configured Journal 2.0 as a theme and configured that. We now want to transfer an older store running on V1.5.6 and run it as a second store using the Mult...

Re: Resetting Administrator Permissions

You simply need to copy "permission" field value of "user_group" table from SQL file, which comes with OC distribution package. Just copy it and insert in the same field using PHPMyAdmin. thanks for the input, attempted copying from both of the other installs I've got and neither worked. Installed ...

Non Shop Template for second site using Multi-Store

The non-shop site badly needs a rebuild and I was just wondering if there are any templates out there that could be used in this way. Still using categories...

Migration of 1.5.6.4 database into clean 2.3 database.

Hello I've had a trawl through for details on upgrading 1.5 to 2.3 and there are quite a few articles but I can't seem to find one relating to what I want to do. Current site is 1.5.6.4, but I don't want to upgrade that installation as it is time for a fresh installation. The plan is to configure a ...

Re: making the default template responsive

thanks, I'll have a trawl through this evening.

I had seen a couple of posts by him, but they all referred to new third party templates which I'm trying to avoid at this time.

I'll search deeper!

If IP_CAM would like to point me at the right thread....
