Re: wordpress admin taking over

As soon as I have Opencart working I will REMOVE ll wordpress files FOREVER. But this is a working site. So I just moved the files as a temporary measure in case I had to restore the old site. Which is indeed what I have had to do. I have a finished opencart site elsewhere and just need to clone it ...

wordpress admin taking over

I moved all files of my wordpress site into a different folder, unzipped opencart, moved the files from the upload directory into the root, installed opencart 3.0.2.0 - that seemed to work successfully. My front end shows the demo OC site. But when I attempt to get to the backend, the url changes to...

Re: css for links in category page

Well, that's no use - it changes ALL the links such as Product links, search links, Compare etc. I don't what that. I want to isolate a link to a pdf file just from the category description. I isolated the code for the manufacturer section: /* links for manufacturer pages */ #manufacturer-details a ...

I thought I had found the right section but it altered the colour of the sidemenu links as well. Can you point me in the right direction please? I'm using standard OpenCart t...

increase size of list for related products

I'm having great difficulty in selecting the related products for a product. Is there any way to increase the default list to 10 or 12 so that at least I'll have some chance of finding the right product?

Re: Remove product review tab

ok, thanks. I tried and tried and couldn't get it to work. Eventually I found a product.twig file in storage and when I removed the line from that file it worked. Thanks for your help.

Remove product review tab

I'm using Opencart Version 3.0.2.0 with default theme. How can I remove the Reviews tab from the product page or anywhere else it might appear?
Also, I want to remove the "Availability: In Stock" under the product code as everything is subject to quote and mostly manufactured when ordered.
Thanks.

Re: explain error log please

ok, changed permissions and replaced file.php and now I can't duplicate that error. But I have disabled a problematic extension, so will see how I go when I re-enable it.
Thanks for your suggestions

Re: footer.twig wont change

Yes, cleared cache on dashboard with the blue icon top right corner, cleared browser cache, refreshed modifications ... did all that over and over. I disabled an extension thinking it might be the culprit - the only way I could retain the changes to footer.twig was to overwrite the files via ftp in ...

explain error log please

While testing the checkout, I got an error dialog box which I didn't understand. So I had a look in the error log files - can you explain to me what these two lines mean? 2018-05-09 7:29:57 - PHP Warning: unlink(/home/chairdoctor.linux.hostaway.net.au/storage/cache/cache.catalog.language.1525854597)...

footer.twig wont change

I made changes to header.twig and to menu.twig but the changes I want in footer.twig never show up. I have cleared cache, renamed the files, uploaded new ones, done everything I can think of. But although the changes show in the template editor page, they don't ever show up. Using Version 3.0.2.0. H...

confirm button goes nowhere

I messed up! I attempted to import my orders from version 1.5 to OC3 and just got lots of errors - so I thought I turned them back to the original but I must have missed something. OC version 2 - that's where I posted my question. Nevermind. I refreshed the cache in the modifications page and got it looking the way I expected.

product id or model no on product page

I can't remember how I did it, but I removed the product code on the product page. Now I want to put it back but I can't find how to do it. And "product code" or similar searches are too common for the search function to find the answer which must be already here! Can you assist please. I added in a...

kaspersky blocked jquery

I've had several attempts at setting up a testing site and I keep getting dialog boxes from Kaspersky telling it has blocked jquery.js because of a listing on a malware database. I have a barebones site, I added a simple template and one extension. But after a few days when attempting to get into th...

Re: link to website from category

I can't get that to work. I've tried various options. Just doesn't do it. I don't know why you said to refresh the modifications, when the only refresh button is not in this section, but under extensions.

Re: Should I upgrade?

If it's not broke, don't fix it. I've spent a week in a terrible muddle - there are no tutorials and they've used something called twig. Give it a miss at least until there are some tutorials and after you've checked if you can use your template and any extensions you've added.
