Re: How to show the latest products in the home

not recommend to use "latest products", it will consume too much CPU if you have too many products.

Re: What is the best cache extension for OC 3.x?

how many products do you have ?
if less than 100K, just do some optimization, that would be enough.
better not to use browser cache, because your website is an e-commerce site, not a CMS, all data must be up-to-date.

Re: OC 3.0.2.0 Can't upload or change images

As your post suggest this has only started happening since a server move. Have you spoken to your host about it? What version of PHP are you using? Has this changed with the server move? Do you see any errors in the OpenCart or PHP error logs? Do you see any messages in your web browser's developer...

Re: OC 3.x shop reacts very slowly in the frontend and backend

Could be lots of things, including your database tables not being indexed? opencart original have the database indexes, so no need to do it. you can run "show index from oc_xxx" to see the index. if too slow, you need to change a hosting or move to vps. if just hundreds or thousands of products, th...

better use .htaccess to allow or deny ip address. sample .htaccess order deny, allow deny from all allow from your-ip-address. every time you want to access your admin, just edit .htaccess and change your ip address. Re: how to remove ?limit=* ?search=* from product seo url

the version 3.0.2.0 is already with ". $url". so your solution is still not working. yes, I said: remove the ". $url" part. when in catalog view with display limit set or sort order set, the url's of the products copy those parameters over, they should not. Then again, the canonical link on the pro...
