Re: Category description visible only on the first page of the category view

Here is an .xml file I made so you can avoid editing the source files by uploading the file to vqmod/xml folder.

Re: Category description visible only on the first page of the category view

I tried myself and I made it. Here is the solution: In file "catalog/view/theme/default/template/product/category.tpl" SEARCH for the line <?php if ($thumb || $description) { ?> and put BEFORE that line that line <?php if (($this->request->get['page']) == '1' || ($this->request->get['page']) == '') ...

Category description visible only on the first page of the category view

Hello all.

I would like to show the category description only when the first page of the products' of any category is shown. When a user selects the 2nd page, the 3rd page and so on, the category description will not be shown.
Is there any easy way to do it?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Greek tax problem

Well... this is the solution: What we have to do Make 2 Customer Groups: Receipt Invoice Make 3 Geo Zones: a Geo Zone for 16% VAT for Invoices (include here only the Zones of Greece that have 16% VAT), a Geo Zone for 23% VAT for Invoices, (include all the Zones of Greece except the above Zones), and...

Re: Greek tax problem

You think that is a bug but I do not think so.

I just want

  • receipts with 23% VAT all over Greece, and
  • invoices with 23% VAT on some Geo zones, and with 16% VAT on the rest zones
I think that maybe this is just beyond the possibilities of Opencart. I can' t think anything else.

I tried the version 1.5.6.4 of Opencart. Just the same thing. Nothing different.

Re: Greek tax problem

Yes. I will download the 1.5.6.4 version and I will reset it as above. Do you think it has to do with the version of oc?

[SOLVED] Greek tax problem

Hello to all Opencarters. I faced a problem with the set up of Opencart. Here in Greece, we have 2 geo zones with diferent tax rates: we have Geo Zone 1 with 16% VAT, and we have Geo Zone 2 with 23% VAT This seems to be OK, but the things here are getting worse when you want to select for a Receipt ...
