Re: OpenCart 2.0.2.0 Available Now

But just to give your defenition of dependency injection some comment: how many times your example is used in a correct way in OC??

Re: OpenCart 2.0.2.0 Available Now

Dependency injection is just a design pattern. Its implementation is up to developers whether it's a direct class injection, a service locator, or a dependency injection container. Dependency injection just a design pattern? Well, yes and no. Why re-invent multiple wheels while there some really go...

Re: OpenCart 2.0.2.0 Available Now

No Daniel doesn't... and to say it with your words... using best practices of 2008 instead of... Everything is outdated but there is 1 thing i don't agree upon: switching to php7. Yes, it woul be a great improvement (hell, even 6 would be) but a sh*tload of providers are stuck in the 2004 version of...

Re: OpenCart 2.0.2.0 Available Now

@rph: i think we can all state at least 10 extra lines to the mentioned list. It seems though that Daniel doesn't have the skills to implement the simplest things as cdn's or code dependencies. I do think that is the reason everyone that does a pull or even a suggestion in that direction is attacked...

Re: OpenCart 2.0.2.0 Available Now

(Those that think it is have either had a blessedly easy or short carrier.) It just has an old architecture. There's nothing about it that couldn't be modernized if there was a real desire. But you can't make someone change that doesn't want to. I think this is exa...

Re: OpenCart 2.0.2.0 Available Now

Hello, I just wanted to post a quick kudos to OpenCart 2. ;D (Specifically, I'm using 2.0.1.1) The site is: http://CelBot.com As a user of OpenCart for a few years now (not a developer) I have lurked around the forums and there aren't a lot of posts from people just using OC. I read tons of negativ...

Re: OpenCart 2.0.2.0 Available Now

*Fixed*

It is already in the bugtracker and i leave it up to Daniel to fix it in the release or not... it needs a sh*tload of fixes to the catalog\controller\api\order.php and the order_form itself...

Re: OpenCart 2.0.2.0 Available Now

*sighs* Shipping method in the last tab is disabled when shipping address is disabled. What in heavens name has the shipping method got to do with the shipping address?? I need to sent the package one way or another (hence, the field is required but disabled?!) so the entire shipping details functio...

Re: OpenCart 2.0.2.0 Available Now

Best thing to do is make the changes and submit a pull request - more of a chance of it going in that way :-) Yeah, was afraid of that ;-) You know, i'm diving into that form and it has a lot of bugs (try choosing another shipment address, it reverts right back to "choose address", the sh...

Re: OpenCart 2.0.2.0 Available Now

Started to work on this bug and found quite some functions that are, well, just plain old. For example, we are using jQuery 2.1.1 but the .delegate() function is superseded by the .on() function as of v1.7. jQuery is still backwards compatible but these functions will soon be outdated and removed co...

Re: OpenCart 2.0.2.0 Available Now

I couldn't find anything related on the bug tracker but i believe you if you say it is. Trying to dive into problem today. The entire way of building that screen is a bit odd because of the setting and unsetting of the session vars for ONLY the payment method and none other... If i come up with a so...
