Opencart.com marketplace developers are not being notified of purchases

Please note that the opencart.com marketplace is currently experiencing some issues, and is not notifying developers of purchases via its API. This means that actions that rely on that notification (e.g. license key generation) are not working. The OpenCart team is working on fixing this, so please ...

Re: 3 club is mocking Opencart

Thanks for letting us know. :good: Fingers crossed the API notifications get fixed quickly, since many of us rely on that for license key generation.

Re: 3 club is mocking Opencart

Is anyone else having issues with getting order notifications from opencart.com? The last one I received was on June 11th, and they haven't notified me of the last 4 orders via the API. This is causing license key generation issues. Is anyone else having issues with API order notifications?

Re: Need category filter Extension

Both Filter by Attribute Module and Filter by Price Module have a category filter and manufacturer filter. They also both have manual Submit buttons, so the filtering won't happen automatically (unless you want it to). Feel free to take a look at the screenshots and demo site, and if you're interest...

Re: Upgrading from 3.0.3.2 to 3.0.3.7

I really don't think you need to update with such a minor version change. If your current version is stable and working for you, then typically it's better to just stick with it. Upgrading often causes issues that you then need to work out, so unless you have a good reason to upgrade, it's safer to ...

Re: What's the best way to migrate from opencart to woocommerce?

I moved this to the Off-Topic section of the forum, but since it's still OpenCart-related it's fine to post here. Not sure you'll get as many responses as in the Woocommerce forum, though.

Re: Siteground Hosting Alternative

Also, since I may be upgrading to 3.x anyway, what "themes" do y'all suggest? Or just use plain old vanilla OC 3 Paul's CSS themes are the ones I recommend, because they won't modify any core files like Journal does: https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=marketplace/extension/info&extension_id=3...

Re: Best 3x Version

My impression was that those payment/shipping extensions were just being moved out of the core, and will be available on the opencart.com marketplace (https://www.opencart.com/index.php?route=marketplace/extension). I don't see them there yet, however since they are still built-in to the 3.0 version...

Re: Missing Steps On Checkout

The Delivery Address and Delivery Method steps will be missing if the products do not require shipping. The site with 4 steps probably has all products set to "Requires Shipping: No". Change that to "Yes" for all your products, and then you'll have 6 steps.

Re: Cash on delivery

If you need to add a fee for a particular payment method choice, I have a Simple Payment Fee extension that can do that. It supports flat rate and/or percentage fees, but if you need something more complicated than that, I also have Payment-Based Fee/Discount . Feel free to take a look at the screen...

Re: Hide Default Prices & Display Only Special Prices

You should be able to do that by adding some CSS to your theme's main stylesheet:

/catalog/view/theme/YOURTHEME/stylesheet/stylesheet.css

You'd add some lines like this at the bottom, and it should hide all the non-special prices if a product is on special:

Code: Select all

.price-old {
     display: none;
 }

Re: Shipping Rate by Wight

It should work that way. The first number you enter is the upper limit of weight, so if you enter this: 5:25.00 then anything up to 5 kg will be charged $25.00. Anything that is 5.0001 or more will charge the next bracket up. If it's not working that way, double-check your weight class values in Sys...

Re: Shipping Rate by Wight

The built-in Weight Based Shipping extension can handle this. You have to enter the brackets yourself, but once you do the work you won't have to change it. For example, you'd set up a geo zone in System > Localisation > Geo Zones, and then apply these rates to it: 5:25.00, 6:35.00, 7:45.00, etc. Yo...

PayPal Standard Improvements fixes this. It will send the address to PayPal, as well as separate out the Shipping, Taxes, and other fees/discounts on the order into their own line items. Re: How to change index.php?route=account/account

RJLab3, if you want an easier solution, Rewrite Manager can do this. It will modify the URLs in the system as well as let the new pages work. You can remove any page's "index.php?route=" portion, and then enter your own SEO Keyword for the page instead. Feel free to take a look at the screenshots an...

Re: Klarna for Version 3.0.3.6
