Re: BCC On Order Shipped Only?

The most specific as it can get is to get in touch with the developer of that extension.
If only I knew who the developer was, that would be great, but I don't know who developed it.

Contact the extension developer to resolve this issue.
I just thought there might be a simple line of code I could add to a specific php file to achieve this?

BCC On Order Shipped Only?

Okay, I'm trying to integrate Trustpilot into my site. I know that they have a free extension for OC, but it's only compatible with OC2 and above and I'm running 1.5.6.4. Basically all I would like to do is send a BCC email to Trustpilot when the customers order is marked as shipped and NOT before. ...

Re: Themes Advice Needed From a Soon To Be Ex Journal User

Did someone delete my post here from yesterday? ??? Anyway thanks Jeff and Mike for the kind words, we'll be developing some more themes but it would be great if some other members of the community developed CSS-only themes along the lines of CSS Zen Garden . Thanks for your input, I'll keep an eye...

BTW.: Stay away from smartaddons, I just remember they have a history of selling stolen OpenCart extensions!

I think it was:
smartaddons.net
And this is:
smartaddons.com
So are you saying that the .com are okay to deal with and their themes are okay?

Here are some very standard-compliant web themes:

Thanks for the link, but I was hoping for slightly more than just a choice of two.

Re: Themes Advice Needed From a Soon To Be Ex Journal User

Re: Themes Advice Needed From a Soon To Be Ex Journal User

Well I appreciate what you are saying its difficult. BUT MOST themes bring problems all of their own. IF there was a KNOWN fantastic theme that made everybody happy you would hereabout it and people would post the links here. That generally does NOT HAPPEN :-) ALL the good themes will cost a fair b...

Sorry, but the smartaddons demo links always redirect to https://only3.club/ , not to an actual theme demo!
I think you are better off staying away from them!
Not sure why you're being redirected to that site, I've just double checked the link I posted before and it's working fine ???

Re: Themes Advice Needed From a Soon To Be Ex Journal User

If you buy templates like that you can expect the problems that come with them which are NOT supported HERE. Get a developer to help you develop the standard theme, a lot can be done with just the css for example Thanks for your input mikeinterserv, but as I said in my op, I don't do code and would...

Re: Themes Advice Needed From a Soon To Be Ex Journal User

The OC themes from smartaddons don't appear to have demo for their themes, so it's hard to say how good they are, or whether they are standard-compliant. Ask them for some demo-links! Hey JNeuhoff, All their OC themes are here: https://www.smartaddons.com/opencart-themes then you simply choose the ...

Themes Advice Needed From a Soon To Be Ex Journal User

Just looking for some advice here really. I'll be creating a brand new OC site in the near future. I'm planning on using the latest 3.0.3.6 OC platform and would like to know what themes you are all using? I've been advised to make sure I use a standard-compliant web theme, but due to my lack of cod...

The system/library/phpmailer/class.smtp.php is not part of a standard OV 1.5.6.4. You should get in touch with the author of your PHPMailer extension.
Okay thanks for that ;)

PHP Unknown: The each() function is deprecated

Hi Guys, Just a quick one, I keep seeing this error message in my 'System Error Logs'. Anyone know what it means and how to fix it? I'm using OC 1.5.6.4. Re: OpenCart 1.5x, 2x or 3x…What’s the best & Why?

Your question is too subjective to receive the response you are hoping for. It is like asking which is better a classic lotus, a modern lotus, or a new lotus .. Classic cars are classics, they can be maintained, they require a little more effort, but their simplicity makes that easier. Modern versi...

Re: OpenCart 1.5x, 2x or 3x…What’s the best & Why?

With regards to web themes: Make sure to use a standard-compliant web theme, and stay clear of poorly written frameworks like Journal3. The latter is not supported by the OC community here for a good reason. Hey JNeuhoff, Thanks for your input. Even though I'm not really seeing the answers I was ho...

please bear with me here because I’m not looking for any support for the Journal 2 theme ... Well, sure you do, just without beeing aware of. And this, because a default themed OC v.1.5.6.4, with a new encryption.php file, could still work, by use of a PHP v.7.4.x Version, depending on additional e...

OpenCart 1.5x, 2x or 3x…What’s the best & Why?

Okay guys and gals, I feel like I’ve been left with no option but to ask this question, because my website host is moving their servers to php 7.4 and making anything lower than 7.2 obsolete very soon. I’m currently running OC 1.5.6.4 with an updated encryption file, and updated config files to allo...

Re: Cannot load the ionCube PHP Loader Problem :(

Good thinking! And just to mention it, on my Server, the PHP Version(s), to be used, can be 'declared' in the .htaccess File, and if none is declared, the Server automatically selects the latest Version installed, i.E. PHP v.7.4.7 in my Case . Good Luck! ;) Ernie ## Ernie's OpenCart .htaccess File ...
