It has been occured due to a massive amount of requests we are currently facing. Let us inform you that Namecheap is not the own...

Re: captcha no longer working

The built-in OpenCart captchas, as well as some of the 3rd party captcha extensions, are easily bypassed by the modern spambots. Hence captchas won't offer much of a protection anymore. Our Spambot Buster uses a different approach with an invisible honeypot trap field, and checking for required mous...

Re: Split Paypal Payment

You'd have to find a professional developer to look into it, especially since you also use the Journal3 framework which isn't even supported here.

Re: Different Payment Methods

If I understand you correctly, you want to present these 2 other payment methods only if customer chooses a shipping address which is different from the payment address? If so, that would require a modification for the way the payment methods are offered by the system. You'd need to find a professio...

Re: Google sitemap working?

You are using mainly information pages, and a 3rd party extension for tracking. There are no products shown on your website. Your '.htaccess' is changed or corrupted, it doesn't map the index.php?route=extension/feed/google_sitemap to the sitemap.xml. And your index.php?route=extension/feed/google_s...

Re: Google sitemap working?

There is no problem with the OpenCart sitemap (index.php?route=extension/feed/google_sitemap, same as sitemap.xml).
And Google accesses it just fine.

Please provide more details about the exact error you get from Google.

Re: Members cannot login

Lack of details, not an OpenCart bug! In a standard OpenCart, the login works just fine.

Please provide more details.

Re: Non-members cannot add products to the cart

If you seriously expect someone to help you here, you have to provide some more details. There is no concept of membership in OpenCart, hence I assume you are talking about issues with a 3rd party extension. What are the exact error messages? What OC version? What web theme? What exact extensions?

Re: export/import 3.0.2.0

You are using a modified file, not the original admin/model/extension/export_import.php, because this particular line only contains this:

Code: Select all

		$j = 0;
It doesn't use any offset there.

That's why I was asking for more details!

Re: [SOLVED] Is there a way to change/customize the 'Shipping error ' - No Shipping options available. Please contact us

Events are better than OCmod/VQmod, and better than directly changing OpenCart core files.

Having said that, personally I prefer object-oriented class extensions with overridden methods where possible as a way to modify OC core logic.

Re: export/import 3.0.2.0

So contact the extension developer.
Well, yeah, that's me. ;)

But I still need some more details about the exact nature of the error, and the PHP and OC extension versions used here.

Re: export/import 3.0.2.0

As I said, since you won't provide the necessary details, e.g. error.log, PHP version, etc, we are unable to help you.

Re: Opencart vs. Developers vs. Rip off 2021

You are not telling us the whole story here. Why did you spend 3 days to fix a broken extension from a developer who clearly promised you it would work with your given web theme, and then it didn't? Ask OpenCart, or PayPal, for a refund!

Re: Opencart vs. Developers vs. Rip off 2021

That's why we keep advising customers to stay away from poor quality extensions. Many of them don't abide by the OpenCart standards, and use poor-quality VQmod or OCmod XML modification scripts which tend to cause clashes between different 3rd party extensions. A good quality extension shouldn't use...

Re: Opencart vs. Developers vs. Rip off 2021

For God sake, im asking about extensions, not theme.... But you won't accept the advice given here: If the extension author promised you that his extension would work with whatever commercial theme you use, and it doesn't, then the author either has to fix it, or you ask for a refund. Unless specif...

Re: Opencart vs. Developers vs. Rip off 2021

Most extensions are developed for the OpenCart framework, not for the Journal3 framework. Journal3 is not OpenCart, so this is not the right support forum for this. However, if a 3rd party extension author specifically states that his extension also works for the Journal3 framework, when in fact it ...

Re: Login not working on mobile - Flutter

This is not an OpenCart bug! Your issue is caused by a 3rd party extension implementing your REST API, so you need to get in touch with its author.

Re: Language Issue with Opencart 3, website wont load any info

You have possibly installed old OC 2.x extension on your OC 3.x server.

But you have a much bigger problem: You are using one of the worst non-standard compliant web themes (Journal2). And your website is extremely slow.
