Re: Options are automatically selected on page (product page) load

Thanks for the business advice, so what's your background? You are welcome.. But it is not a business advice, just simply plain common sense.. I don't think you need business advices.. You just need to stop coming on, sounding so desperate every time you reply to a post.. Try to stick to the point....

Re: Options are automatically selected on page (product page) load

Saying "generally accepted web standards" is not the same as " the HTML standard ". As you can't code you should probably refrain from commenting on things you don't understand. You see Pinocchio, I understand pretty well, and more than you will ever do... That's why I have stop giving you and your...

Re: Remove required registrations fields or disable registration completely.

Well, it took me exactly 40 Seconds, to find two matching Extensions ... :joker:  :drunk: They do NOT the Job for you, but they show you, in detail, where what needs to be changed, to make such Fields 1. not required , and 2. not to show up. And if the Database still requires some Va...

Re: 2016 & Ongoing - Why are there so many Terrible themes?!

Well it's important you understand that even if a theme looks very good like Journal does, it can still be a terrible theme if the code is a mess for the reasons I stated above which were if the store owner wants some custom features, or even bug fixes, the over-engineered code will make that very ...

True, you wouldn't want to end up actually knowing something ;)
Um the fact the thread is called "Why are there so many Terrible themes?!" and we're talking about code quality means it helps if you have a basic understanding of software development?
That's nice.. ;)

Re: Options are automatically selected on page (product page) load

Basically there are 2 type of coders. those who tell you you have a crap site (journal theme) and those who are willing, and have the capability to think in solutions and solve your problem. ive met both first group will never get a job. second group will earn a good deal of money. This comment was...

I really hope you don't call yourself a developer.
Never have! I would be afraid to end up like you! ;)

But what has this got to do with this thread?? Don't you have customers to support???

Re: Remove required registrations fields or disable registration completely.

Please don't tell me why I should not do this, I am asking for instruction, not opinion. I would be very grateful for any helpful answers.  Your last line made my day.. I completely agree with you. There are definitely too many users offering opinions instead of solutions on this for...

Re: Options are automatically selected on page (product page) load

No, because it doesn't follow generally accepted web standards such as not pre-selecting an option from an HTML select input. All of the most respected OpenCart developers: https://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=157098 I was going to reply by coming down to your level, but then I realised ...

One of the many reasons we all advise against it.
Why? Because Journal does offer an option for it?
And who is "we all"?? Please feel free to make a list out of the 121808 users in this community!!

Re: Multiple Shipping method based on multiple products locations

Joel left OpenCart almost 2 years ago. I believe he moved to Shopify. I was never a fan of his because in his initial extensions he directly copied some of my features/layout/language, including a few actual code snippets. I pointed that out to Daniel at the time and requested he remove the extensi...

Re: Is Opencart Dead?

Most problems come from unknown free extensions. If you decide to stay always make a search before installing anything (Who is the dev or company? how long is in opencart? reviews etc...) . Your decision is yours of course. Excellent advice, then again, these advices are the same as the one listed ...
