I reckon this is because the vendor folder is in the storage folder which is moved upon initial installation
Maybe there is a way to change the path in system_library_facebookcommonutils.php on line 8 to point to your storage/vendor folder

Finally: if an update is made, the user should read the details and notes (if provided, which is normally not!) - BEFORE! Depends on what tables you dropped and how much data was in them If you have a dB backup then perhaps you could use that You should be able to download your version and import the missing tables from that if you know what you are doing But like stated it depends on how much data was in the tables be...

Is it because previously edited the file via the theme editor Yes, so now the file is saved in the database and is called instead of the file I n your theme Go back to theme editor and delete/remove the edited files refresh cache Then edit your theme file clear caches and you should see your edits
