Re: Should I do this with the Orders

I also vote for all the info on one page. I think the way you have it divided now is pretty good, actually.

And I like the vertical product options, as well.

Re: [1.4.0] Search bug. Search returns disabled articles

This doesn't happen on my store, which is 1.4.0. I have removed the part of that function that says:

Code: Select all

LEFT JOIN " . DB_PREFIX . "product_to_category p2c ON (p.product_id = p2c.product_id)
so I don't know if that fixed it for me. Anyone else having this 1.4.0 search problem?

Re: SEO SUPPORT

The %20 means you have a space in your SEO url for that product/category. Standard SEO practice is to use all lowercase letters with hyphens instead of spaces. So your url would look like this:

http://www.thefishingandleisureshop.com/leisure-shop

Re: Questions about OpenCart

i2Paq: Just to let you know, the past tense of "split" is "split". ;D corgia: I haven't used the multi-shop yet, but my understanding is that it has one back-end for all the front-end shops. Which means it wouldn't work for your clients, as you want all of them to each have their own back-end. Some...

Re: Coupon Errors

I thought you should know your link goes to the install page for OpenCart. You might want to fix this...

As for the coupon error, the only thing I can think of is that your total amount in the cart isn't higher than the "Total Amount" setting of the coupon.

Re: Admin Template : Drop downs bug

I use a Mac, and the admin menu works in all the current versions of the browsers I've tested (Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera, Camino, and Fluid). You should recommend that your client update to the latest version of their browser. It should fix the problem, and it's just good practice security-wise...

Re: [DEV TOPIC] Improved getProductOptions() function

Thanks for this mod; hopefully it gets incorporated into the core. I think there's one small error in your suggested code in Step 2: $options = $this->getProductOptions($this->request->get['product_id']); should be: $options = $this->model_catalog_product->getProductOptions($this->request->get['prod...

Re: [1.4.0] Admin Product Filtering - Enter Key Fix

Thanks for this fix, it was handy. Just a note, though: using this fix with Qphoria's Admin Confirm Pop-up patch doesn't work well in Webkit-based browsers (i.e. Safari, Chrome). When you hit enter, it gives you the javascript prompt -- hitting OK reloads the page with the delete URL (deleting nothi...

Re: [1.4.0] Products appear multiple times when searching

I found a fix, if you don't mind not allowing searching by category. (I had already disabled that, so it works well for me.) Delete the instances of the following piece of code in both getProductsByKeyword() and getTotalProductsByKeyword(): LEFT JOIN " . DB_PREFIX . "product_to_category p2c ON (p.pr...

[1.4.0] Products appear multiple times when searching

In 1.4.0, If you search "All Categories" for a product that has multiple category designations, it brings up the products multiple times. For an example, see this search for "Macbook Air" on the demo version: http://demo.opencart.com/index.php?route=product/search&keyword=Macbook%20Air&category_id=0...

Re: Default Shipping & Payment Method

Thanks for this, it's quite handy. I'm trying to figure out a way to skip the Confirm page as well (and go straight to Paypal), but I can only do it out with some javascript trickery. Basically, I put the whole of confirm.tpl in a div with style="display: none" (so it wouldn't half-display as it was...

[1.4.0] [FIX] Can't delete address book entries

Trying to delete an entry from your address book in 1.4.0 results in the following errors: "Notice: Undefined index: shipping_address_id in /catalog/controller/account/address.php on line 97" "Notice: Undefined index: payment_address_id in /catalog/controller/account/address.php on line 103" I fixed...

Re: New or edited customer address always becomes the default

There's one problem with this fix: it results in a "Notice: Undefined index: default in /catalog/model/account/address.php on line 8" error when adding an address during checkout. Changing the fix to the following seems to work:

Code: Select all

if (isset($data['default']) && $data['default'] == "1") {

Re: [v1.3.4] Usps module not showing up, errors [RESOLVED]

I think I figured out why this error is occurring. It's related to the issue described here: http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=8427 Since the USPS module was interpreting ounces as pounds, anything over "4 pounds" was actually being interpreted as 16 times its value. So "5 pounds" was 5...

Re: [v1.3.4] Usps module not showing up, errors [RESOLVED]

This error occurs for me in 1.4.0 as well. Adding the @ symbol before $php_stmt .= '[$xml_elem[\'tag\']] = $xml_elem[\'value\'];'; does not suppress the error. Also, I can get rates when using Guest Checkout, but not when checking out with a customer account. Anyone know of a fix? Edit: After furthe...
