Re: Why One Should Avoid Journal?

What's so special about Journal that you can't live without it? Remember Journal is not OpenCart, 2 different frameworks.

There are some highly compatible themes on the OpenCart market place, such as this one from Antropy.

Re: Marketplace comments - who's responsible

That would be OpenCart Ltd, it is reponsible for the opencart.com website, including the comments section.

See also Dirty Spammer/Hacker on OC for details on where else to send complaints to.

Re: Not happy with the OC SEO

Doesn't make sense! OpenCart already uses link canonicals which uses the product URL without the category portions in it.

Re: OpenCart 2.3.0.2 to Xero Stock Quantity Sync - Is this Possible?

Re: Strange customer registration spam

You may want to use our SpamBot Buster extension to prevent those fake customer registrations originating from Russian spambots. Our tool detects and then rejects theme, using an invisible honeypot trap field, and by checking for required mouse/touch/keyboard events.

Re: error sitemap

The error message is not caused by OpenCart's standard Google sitemap. Rather, it looks like you are using a modified catalog/controller/extension/feed/google_sitemap.php file causing your error with this product (missing end-tag highlighted in red ): <url> <loc>http://www.amenagement-public.fr/Remp...

Re: Checkout fails due to validation errors

Bad news is that the registration spam probably begins anew.
You can use our SpamBot Buster which doesn't need OCmod nor VQmod, and which uses an effective honeypot trap and checks for required mouse/touch/keyboard events to distinguish between genuine human users and unwanted spambots.

Maybe the product_option_id or product_option_value_id values in the order_option table for old orders no longer match the IDs in the product_option or product_option_value tables.
In which case there needs to be a validation prior to re-submitting an order from the order history.

Re: V3.0.2.0 - TWIG Question - Highlighting Values

Well, you should use UTF-8 to start with.

Still, I agree, Twig is a pain. Twig is poorly designed and poorly implemented template language, it has bad syntax, not a proper LALR(1) syntax grammar, and does not directly translate into the final HTML, and it silently ignores undefined variables.

Re: V3.0.2.0 - TWIG Question - Highlighting Values

Add

Code: Select all

<!-- order.total='{{ order.total }}' -->
to your template and refresh the page, then go to browser's source view to see what the exact content is. It may contain some other non-numeric characters which may have to be filtered out.

Re: V3.0.2.0 - TWIG Question - Highlighting Values

Try the replace filter, e.g.

Code: Select all

{% if order.total|replace({ "£":"" }) == 0 %}

Yeah, and for which you still haven't paid the invoice!

Also, you are using the non-standard compliant Journal3 framework, hence you may have to get in touch with the Journal3 support for your other website issues.

Re: Images in folder image/cache should be expired

When you say that redundant images remain on your server after products are deleted what exactly do you mean by this?
Are you talking about redundant entries in e.g. the DB table 'oc_product_image'? Or is it only about the image/catalog or image/cache folders?
