Re: vQmod 2.X development and feature request discussion thr

[FEATURES] Could we have a $DEBUG variable that could be set to TRUE, and that puts vQmod into debugging mode please? When in DEBUG mode vQmod could write a lot more to the log file such as the filename, line number and line of text where a <search> modification pattern has been found. On the next l...

Re: @Developers - OpenCart Global Library Methods [1.4.x]

Thanks for that link Jay.

I'll take a closer look at that soon.

Is it possible to write an API class with a set of wrapper methods that could be included in the index.php file, and made available to all other PHP scripts in OC?

I'm just toying with the idea of writing something like that.

Re: @Developers - OpenCart Global Library Methods [1.4.x]

Thanks for that Q. Next question: Do we actually have some sort of OpenCart Extension Developers Guide yet, to show how to write OC extensions, and integrate them into OC using these methods please? I've got the OC 1.4 Template Design Cookbook by Packt Publishing but cannot find anything that deals ...

Thanks for your reply butte.

I'll tweak that in the core when I get around to finishing the documentation.

Re: Better Highlighting of Selected Tabs

Thanks for your reply butte.

Version 1.5.5.1, 1.5.6 both with default themes

I'll tweak the CSS rules with Firebug to get a good contrast.

I still reckon this needs to be done in the core distribution by default, for others to benefit from as well.

Re: How about the basic necessities….

3- Save and keep editing. Thanks for making me navigate back every time I save, yay! We do really need that I found when adding long descriptions and specifications to products! 4- Click product link in admin to see product in front end. More wasted clicks. The answer to that is to use separate bro...

Better Highlighting of Selected Tabs

When I was using OpenCart at work I found it difficult to see which tab was being used, due to the light reflecting on the monitor screen. Also when screen shots are taken for documentation the selected tab is not always clearly shown after the screenshot has been printed out to paper. Bearing this ...

Quick Save Button

I was wondering if we could have a ' Quick Save' button at the bottom of Product edit windows in the Admin section please. This would allow admin's to save any modifications to Products on a regular basis, and view those edits in another browser window without having to go through the whole select-e...

Re: Attn Theme Developers... We need an intervention

Very neat solution.

Would this not also work using JQuery on the client side, to alter/add tag attributes?

Re: Attn Theme Developers... We need an intervention

People should not hack the base code for making their extensions and themes to work. This is not the way to do it. If they must make modifications to various tag attributes, then I'd suggest using phing and the ReplaceRegexp filter to add their own tag attributes without changing the existing base c...
