Is there a way to slow down the Homepage Slideshow Module?
Currently, we have three slides, but they rotate about every 1.5-2 secs. Would like to slow down to 3 seconds each.
Is this possible?
In the "Edit Slide Show" module there are only fields for adjusting the size, not the speed.

Thanks

Thank you for the reply. However, I was not able to find anything using that suggestion.
The Catalog is specific to our e-commerce database.

Looking to slow down the homepage slider.

Anyone else have any suggestions?
Thanks

Thank you for that suggestion.
Where do you access the code from the control panel to revise?

Hi,

I've edited the speed value in the swiper.min.js file changing it from 300 to 3000, but it had no effect.

I've got a screenshot but can't see how to add it.

Any help appreciated.

Hi
Edit this file:
catalog\view\theme\your theme\template\extension\module\slideshow.twig

Find:
autoplay: 2500,

Change it to any value you need, for example 5 seconds:
autoplay: 5000,

My Extensions

This discussion just save me a huge headache...
I followed the path of "catalog\view\theme\default\template\extension\module\slideshow.twig" and changed the autoplay on line 22 from 2500 to 10000. So much better, people now have time to read the displayed information on the homepage banner.
Thanks for this guys.
