Hello everyone!
I have trouble integrating OpenCart with Klaviyo so I can start email marketing. I've added the Klaviyo module via FTP but it's not showing in the dashboard.
Any action that I made via FTP didn't made any effect on the frontend. I've tried to change the templates etc. but no result. So there is a possibility that there is FTP wrong. We followed the documentation and did everything on our side. Can you please give me some guidance on the matter?
Thank you a lot!

Hey guys,
nope, I didn't contact the module developer because I couldn't make any change that would be visible on the frontend.
Here is the link that I've used to follow the instructions: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/artic ... h-OpenCart
The download link of the module is in the "Add the OpenCart Integration" section.
Thank you!

If you have Opencart 2.x or 3.x then
Code: Select all
Klaviyo currently supports OpenCart 1.4.x and 1.5.x

Thank you for the answer!
I've installed the extension but the error is the same https://prnt.sc/134bg6d
I've tried this from the comments but it did not help https://prnt.sc/134betk
The only .xml file in klaviyo.zip is 'install.xml' which doesn't have "unblock". https://prnt.sc/134bq8h

Using such a "mod" is not supported.xxvirusxx wrote: ↑Mon May 17, 2021 3:51 pmInstall this ocmod extension Fix OC 3.x Extension Installer

Why?
OpenCart has some internal restrictions which disallow to upload files (and folders) into defined folders.
Read here: viewtopic.php?f=134&t=216425
This "hack" eleminates this security restrictions and should be NOT used therefore.
Whenever this message is displayed:
it simply means, that this extension tries to use a "forbidden" folder. The directory catalog/controller/module is not allowed to be written to!
In that case, it is an extension for an older OpenCart version.
Rather using this hack, the extension itself should be reworked.
If the extension was a paid one, you can get back the money.
If it is a free extension, you should ask the developer to fix that (which you can do also in the first case).
