Please can you describe what "lightweight" means?
Are all my product, customer and order details passed on to vTiger? What is the level of integration at the moment?

Customer, product and order details are passed from OpenCart to vTiger so the "integration" is one-way only. Customer, product and order details updates are not passed in this case.
