button-group on hover rather than under product images

Good afternoon all,

I have been playing with this one for a while now and not getting much further, I would like to change the button-group which appears under all the products to show on hover of the product image. Hopefully making it a lot cleaner, for the moment I am just testing it on the search template. Has anyone done thing already or can help on the CSS front? or it's not possible and I need to use a addon?

There is no such thing like a 'show on hover' in an OC default Theme Product Page.

Thank you for the reply, You are correct the default theme doesn't. One similar that achieves this, is a Free theme:

It's set to hidden until hover on the image, I will keep looking into it
