Revolution Slider Style edit

Good afternoon all.
I'm new to Opencart and have been induced to try making changes without support from my ISP/designer/developer who is unavailable for a while.
I need to edit the style of the font on the slides in Revolution Slider. I've entered the edit style, made the changes, saved as new with a new name but that always results in a tiny grey font nothing like what I tried to do.
What am I doing wrong?
