i have downloaded it many times and seems that there is something missing or i might have to change a name of a file or something ? Anyway it doesn't install and when i upload the files nothing changes . there is a text file that reads ...
Inventory System Extension 1.2 for Opencart 2.x

The Inventory System Extension allows the admin user to manage all purchases
(purchase orders, purchase returns), Suppliers (suppliers, supplier groups) and reports of received orders and pending orders and many more.
Installation
============
In the OpenCart admin backend, do the following steps:
Step 1)
Download Inventory System Extension 1.0 and extract the folder
Step 2)
Go to admin panel of your store > Extensions > Extension Installer > upload 'inventorysystem.ocmod.xml'
file in the downloaded package.
Step 3)
Then Go to Extensions > Modifications (Press the Refresh Button on the top right corner of the page)
Note:
- You have to install ftp quickfix extension (https://www.opencart.com/index.php?rout ... n_id=18892) , so no ftp error occur.

may we enquire what is in the file?
start from the beginning
Do you have a zip folder called somename.ocmod.zip ?
Do you have inside there a folder called upload and a file called install.xml
Start with what you know ..
