I added 100 new categories and everything was working fine for two days

Then I made some changes with the graphics I was using and uploaded a couple new graphics

Then ten minutes after these changes were done I got these error message on the top of the site

"
Notice: getimagesize(): Read error! in /home/fdarn/public_html/holstershack.com/catalog/model/tool/image.php on line 39
Notice: getimagesize(): Read error! in /home/fdarn/public_html/holstershack.com/system/library/image.php on line 11
"
I Backed everything up then restored an older backup

Then I went into the administration and made the same changes as before and there were no problems.

I would really like to be able to restore the backed up version with these error messages because i don't want to start all over again making all those new categories.

I am hoping someone here can tell me what the problem is so I can just resolve it. I have not played with the codes at all. All these changes I made were done from the admin panel, Such as changing prices, Removing a couple banners, and adding new categories. I honestly can't think of what I did wrong.

I appreciate your help.

Thank you,

Sounds like a corrupted image was tripping the resize script up
