Hi team :)

I'm having a problem with the logo for my shop. I lost both the logo and the favicon last week, and have (hopelessly) been trying to get it back. On inspecting the page in google chrome I get these two error messages

index.php?route=common/home:68 GET https://www.idcardit.com/shop/image/cat ... %20res.png 403 (Forbidden)
Favicon.png:1 GET https://www.idcardit.com/shop/image/catalog/Favicon.png 403 (Forbidden)

Why would I be getting these messages, and how can I make it right again???

I'm using Opencart 2.0.3.1.

Thank you!

You just try to beat the System. Go back to the Books and learn the Rules on HTTP, then,
it will work, if you act according HTTP Standards... ;)

The error says

Server unable to read htaccess file, denying access to be safe

have you changed the .htaccess.txt file to .htaccess?

If so have you turned on SEO URL's as they are not showing. Also you should never use spaces in you file names and you should not use capital letters.

Thank you for your help

You've busted me - I am completely new to all of this. I am a trained zookeeper! And I am literally teaching myself html as I go, so please forgive me for all the mistakes I am making :-[

I have changed the file names of the images, changed the .htaccess.txt file to .htaccess, and turned SEO URL's on, and nothing is budging.

Any ideas?

I will have a look at that, thank you.

I set up the SSL certificate a few months ago and have only recently been having this problem though, Is that normal?!

I couldn't tell you if it is a common thing or if it is even that for certain. The only other thing i notice about these images are they are not coming from cache folder unlike the other images on the site.

Have you got images blocked for some reason because if you take the cache parts away from any of the other images they don't work when they should

https://www.idcardit.com/shop/image/cat ... t/BLUE.jpg Dosn't work but path to original file
https://www.idcardit.com/shop/image/cac ... 28x228.jpg Does work path to cached file.

I don't know what the problem is but hope this helps you get closer
