Hello,

I tried to follow the steps to setup PayPal Express Checkout for OpenCart 3.0.3.2
from https://isenselabs.com/posts/paypal-exp ... pencart-3x
but I am stuck in the PayPal sandbox setting.

If I click the "PayPal Configure Sandbox" I get just popup window with "404 Not found" message
while it tries to access mystore.com/admin/&displayMode=minibrowser

Since you purchased this extension from ISenseLabs, contact the developer to resolved this issue.

iSenseLabs doesn't sell or provide a PayPal express module that I can locate. They do however, provide great video tutorials on how to setup various aspects of OpenCart.... PayPal express being one of them.

I'm doing a fresh install of OpenCart due to problems with the PP Express module and the various patches floating around... and in fact the "Configure Live" link on the extension DOES NOT WORK. I get my site shown in a little pop-up. So in this instance, I am contacting the module provider ...

Can you assist this time?

I fail to see where else on the topic I referred that I wouldn't. However, take note that Opencart no longer supports payment and shipping extensions requiring to establish order transactions via a service provider. Nowadays, extensions needs to be handled from the Marketplace as it has always been the case with the forum as those regulations provided from the forum rules.

In addition, take note that the PayPal team do make several changes to their APIs every year which one change can totally mess any stores attempting to contact PayPal's services electronically intermittently. One day, you'd think it's working well, the next day might be different as opposed to PayPal Braintree which, apparently, seem to work pretty well from the ones provided on the Marketplace. By noticing the ratings and the reviews on each of these extensions by other buyers, you'll know where to look.

Hi,

I am also experiencing the same issue with PayPal Express Checkout. When I click on "PayPal Configure Live" or "PayPal Configure Sandbox" is goes to a 404 page not found issue pop-up.

Was there a solution for this issue posted and just couldn't find it?

Can anyone please assist?

Thank you,

Ann

Just manually set it up. Probably related to https://github.com/opencart/opencart/issues/7714

Backup and [ learn how to recover ] before you make any changes.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I did manually set the APIs up but now there is an error at checkout with the live API.

Here's the error below:

Code: Select all

Error: Error: There was an error fetching the PayPal token at eval (eval at globalEval (https://murrawolka.com.au/shop/catalog/view/javascript/jquery/jquery-2.1.1.min.js:2:2536), :22:21) at ZalgoPromise.dispatch (https://www.paypalobjects.com/api/checkout.js:1073:34) at ZalgoPromise.resolve (https://www.paypalobjects.com/api/checkout.js:995:10) at https://www.paypalobjects.com/api/checkout.js:949:19 at XMLHttpRequest.xhrLoad (https://www.paypalobjects.com/api/checkout.js:1825:14) at Object._RECEIVE_MESSAGE_TYPE. [as postrobot_message_response] (https://www.paypalobjects.com/api/checkout.js:8027:15) at receiveMessage (https://www.paypalobjects.com/api/checkout.js:8132:38) at messageListener (https://www.paypalobjects.com/api/checkout.js:8156:3)
Do you know if someone has a fix for this issue?

Thanks again for your assistance.

You might just want to use the one @straightlight has on his GitHub namsespace, I think he patched lot of issues with it.
