I am trying to setup Google Base Product Feeds for Google Shopping and there is an error reported by Google Merchant ...

"Item Too Big"
"Your feed contains items which have too many attributes, or are too big. These items will be dropped."

When looking at the examples, there is a lot of html code within the description field, for example ...

"<ul style="padding-right: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin: 0px 0px 1em; list-style: none outside none; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; font-size: 12px; line-height: 18px;"> <li style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 25px; background-image: url(http://www.xxxxx.com/catalog/view/theme ... llet01.png); background-position: 0px 0px; background-repeat: no-repeat no-repeat;"><strong>some text:</strong> some more text.</li> <li style="margin: 0px; padding: 0px 0px 0px 25px; background-image: url(http://www.xxxxx.com/catalog/view/theme ... llet01.png); background-position: 0px 0px; background-repeat: no-repeat etc ..."

Would you have any suggestions?

Google Base is not up to date for the current feed requirements as it does not support many of the latest attributes.

You would be better off obtaining an up to date product feed extension from the extension store.

I can heartily recommend this one:
http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... n_id=11468

Kind regards

Google Product Feed - Get your products into Google Shopping. Includes a bulk update facility.
Backup Pro - Backup (on demand or scheduled), Restore and Clone your store.
Freestyle Box - Add multiple information boxes on multiple pages of your store. Includes optional "Code Mode".

Solved ... As per most requirements in opencart, an extension is needed to provide decent bug-free functionality.
