Hi Guys, Curious what extension would you recomend to take items from an excel file and have them maped out to the open cart format for import ? Or is there a way to map the import from excel to fit open cart? Someone sent me a huge product list and it scares me to have to copy and paste to fit the structure of the opencart sheet..

If you need to regularly import the data from the excel sheet, then I would buy this extension and ask the developer to customise to align with your import sheet ... probably $100 or so ... plus the $15 for the extension ...

The other option would be to record an Excel macro to try to format into the correct format for this free extension ...

OK guys I will try to play around with all suggested options. I have since realized that this function is part of an all inclusive management product. Hence I will be looking for some software - paid or non - to allow me to do this along with other managegement features.

OpenCart has the majority of features for the majority of users (or a few extensions may be helpful in some cases).

Are you really sure you need a new 'all inclusive management product' if your only issue is importing a csv file?
