I am getting alert messages from the server that search.php function is using too much resource of the server. The thing is that sometimes search process is lasting for example 336458 seconds.
How can I limit search.php function , what are options for that ?

Thanks

Version? What is the current status of the problem?

That is essentially 100 hours (93.46). Over what time span? How much database usage are you allocated? Are you using mysql, mysqli, or pdo for the driver?

It is possible that rogue engines are consuming bandwidth. It is possible but less likely that hackers are using it for brute force attack.

Another trick is to kill access to ram for a short while. Good. Go ahead and edit your opening title Solved.
