No site changes, sudden "Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent" message

hi all,

Thank you in advance for giving this any attention at all. I'll try to be as helpful as I can in outlining the problem, however I can't log into the admin interface so I can't 100% confirm my template name or even what version of OpenCart this is. I'm almost sure that it's 1.5.6.2, installed in 2013 or 2014. Very few changes were made to the template, I'm sure someone will recognize it. No weird mods have been added, the site has really run troublefree for 6 years or so.

Then! Suddenly two days ago, this message started appearing along the top of the index page: I know that the only change I made this week was to add a new product, but I have a hard time believing this is the problem. More likely seems that my crappy hosting provider made some kind of change that they didn't tell me about. But they mention nothing on their site, and otherwise I don't even know where to start looking. Any suggestions would be extremely welcome.

hey xxvirusxx, thanks for responding. I don't have anything in my /vqmods folder except an /xml folder, think it's always been empty. I deleted all my other cache files, no change.

Also called Yahoo Small Bidness/Aabaco, my hosting provider, no changes on their side.

The problem seems to be a permission issue on the session.save_path directory. Check your PHP settings and make sure the directory has the right permissions. You will probably have to ask your host to check it.
