Hi all...I hope someone can help me out with this one. I'm setting up a non-profit for a client that sells just a few products, but is mostly promoting their agenda. They have a Proslider to advertise up-and-coming events that they put on every month that they would like to stay on the home page at the top. They would like to put some more descriptive text below the slider, instead of the goods that the "Latest Products" puts up there by default. I know that I can simply disable the "Latest Products," and add text in the welcome message under system settings in the admin area. The problem with doing it this way is the text replaces the Proslider at the top and then the slider is placed underneath.

So basically this is what I need for the home page. The Proslider up top, and an area the add text underneath it without goods?

Does anyone have a good suggestion?

No one? This can't be that rare, but I've searched and searched but nothing!

I don't know if this is exactly what you are asking, but I have my JavaScript "Proslider" code in the welcome text area itself, then just placed my custom text below it.

How exactly do you have yours set up? Is the Proslider a separate module or what?

Yes, my Proslider is a separate module.

What should I do then?

OK, I got it working with this mod...http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=1117

It works great!
