Hi
I've been looking for a thread about this, but i've found none on the subject so i'm making one.

What i'm trying to do is to add a 1,1% tax on the total value of the products if a certain shipping method is selected. So far i've tried changing the tax class of the shipping method to apply to the subtotal instead of the shipping cost (which is weight based) but haven't had any succes.

So what i'm asking now is how to i apply the tax only if said shipping method is selected.

Cheers

Solved by modifying the shipping tax to apply to the sub total instead of the tax itself

May we please know what government levies an additional tax upon the entire purchase when shipped by one method and not by another one?

I'm not sure what their reason was, but I need to be able to charge tax on people within one state if shipped, but ALSO charge the same tax when the order is being picked up no matter where the user lives. Right now, I can have it one way or the other. The tax class being used should be the shipping tax class and not the product's tax class. This is annoying.
