subcategories list

Hi i dont know if this has been asked before
but what i would like to know is if i had a parent category with 5 or 6 subcategories can i make it so when i click on the parent category it lists the subcategories with an image rather then show all the products

i am using opencart v1.5.1.3

any help would be great
