Search bar wont work

Hello everyone,

I noticed that the search bar on my site doesn't work al the time. Could anyone explain whats wrong? Because I am stressing out that my online shop is going to explode or something.

Edit the file catalog/view/theme/yourtheme/stylesheet/stylesheet.css and look for the class #header #search , and add it the property: z-index: 15;
