Version 3.0.0.0 Not calculating tax correctly

Hi All
I have set geo zones up for australia (we have a GST of 10%)
In the prodcuts section I put in 5.50 (total including gst = 5.50) yet is displays 5.46
In the product list it shows the price as 7.29 (although it is set as 5.00)
If I set the price as 5.00
I get the price as $5.46 on the website and the products list shows it as 6.62

Any ideas?

1. All prices in OpenCart are set without tax --- you can't set prices including tax. See the discussion I just had with someone else about this here:

2. It sounds like there might be other issues going on, so try using the latest version instead of 3.0.0.0. The current latest version is 3.0.1.2.


3. If you still get the issue there, try setting up a test store of version 2.3.0.2, and see if the same issues occur. If they don't, it means it's a 3.0 bug, and you should report it on github: https://github.com/opencart/opencart/issues
