Display Options Weight, Size and Price

Example: I have a joint which is available in Stainless-Steel and Titanium. For the user to decide he should see the weight and the price of the option displayed in the product page. Sometimes I have more then 2 materials to choose from.
OC is a new install with the default theme and layout. It would be nice to display the options as a list with the attributes in one line.

Specify my question. Which file do I have to edit to change the option area in the product page?

Have you looked for extensions that do this?
