You might probably mean from your server specifically. However, this issue might be caused by an installed extension. Which shipping / order totals extensions are you using?
The most generated errors being found on Opencart forum originates from contributed programming. The increased post counters are caused by redundancies of the same solutions that were already provided prior.

Actually there's often a file called error_log in the webroot and in /admin/ but it can also be in any folder that a PHP file that is running is in if that PHP file doesn't write to the default system log.
