my OC version is 3.0.3.7.
In the last 6 days I got two orders that are totally missing products and their Total is zero €.
The first was placed with Payment option: Free Purchase. I then disabled that method and the next one (6 days later, from another client) was placed with Credit/Debit card payment method and he paid!
On the other hand, the admin confirmation email that I get contains all the product info and the total.
In the meantime, of course, I have a lot orders that are normally placed.
How and why could this happen?

It's impossible to tell anything particular without personally looking into the issue. What you have isn't common.

The Journal3 one page checkout has some serious issues from what I remember from other recent forum threads. The same is true with some of the other 3rd party one-page checkouts.
BTW.: Don't use Journal3, it's one of the worst OpenCart extensions, and its modified framework doesn't follow OpenCart standards.
