Why are the "Announcements" of the forum posted as a group of posts above all forum sections? It's a clump of posts that sadly deter people from participating here. Most forums are dead these days, replaced by social media, but even this old guy can see this as not cool -- my 2 cents.

About as cool as the obvious refusal, to replace a simple Number '2' with a '5' in
a place here, to make it a little more 'recognisable' for some Version Users. :-*
Still, it's not cool, it's rather frosty, to be valued like and as a bunch of Asylants.
But if one can afford it, so what ? :D

Announcements are at the top of every forum so that they're very visible. However, nobody has been monitoring those, and there are quite a few now, so I just went through them and cut the number down. A few of them didn't still need to be up, and I combined a few together, so it should be better now. I'll try and keep an eye on it in the future.

Gotta admit how humored I am that those announcement posts for Journal do the exact opposite of what they were originally intended. So you know, I also had a discussion with my friends at Yahoo about OC and Journal today, the PHP code is GPL, and the payment is only for the pre-done designs. Not sure why there is such a turf war when the Journal coders are already giving away the code. My understanding (since I'm the new guy) is that OpenCart hasn't updated the front end in years. Here you have the guys who made a whole front end application open source, the best I've seen, and it's not brought into the core application?!?! Sometimes testosterone really makes a mess of things  --- Heck, the combo is begging to be forked. Wake up!
