Inserting a list of cities in a checkout module

Hi,

A list of cities must be inserted in an opencart checkout module.

On the checkout page are 2 fields called Region and City. When the customer selects a Region, the list with all cities from that region should load in the existing "city" field and make it possible for the customer to choose the destination city (for shipping purposes).

There already is a list of Regions and a method to get region's name - this is very much like what I want for cities. That can be found in a file called simpleapimain.php.

The job consist in implementing the list of cities, creating the method for loading the cities in the "city" field, and making it work with the selected region. (make it show only the cities from the selected region)

For interested freelancers, I attached a copy of the simpleapimain.php file, to study.

I speak english and romanian.

Do you need the list of cities to be editable from the admin panel ?

The issue was solved,
thank you for your interest.

There will be another job opportunity later, after we populate the store with products, when we will want a site optimisation regarding database, long running scripts and page loading speed.

I am not a programmer. The issue was solved by the checkout dev at that time - it was something about adding a database and a get method.

Since then, I have changed the checkout module and now I use 2 flat shipping charges (like local and national shipping)
