Per the instructions, the return URL provided to PayPal should be http://www.yoursite.com
Now, I assume this was written with a site in mind that was located simply in the root, so that the URL goes directly to it. However, mine is in a subdirectory, /store, to allow for my test copy, in the /test folder, and for later adding things like Forums in a /forums folder, etc. It uses a PHP redirect to send folks from yoursite.com to the actual website when they visit.
Should my return URL still be http://www.yoursite.com, or should it be http://www.yoursite.com/store? I'm guessing it should be http://www.yoursite.com/store. Someone must have done a setup like this, if you can tell me which way you had to set up PayPal, I'd appreciate it.
Right now i am setting up my PayPal account and this url hace i choosen.
http://www.yoururl.com/index.php?route=checkout/success
http://www.yoururl.com/index.php?route=checkout/success
It doesnt matter what you put at paypal's end as long as you put something.
Paypal wont let you leave the field blank if you tirn the auto return option on
The actual return url is sent from your checkout page along with the payment data when a user is redirected to paypal to pay.
