We have today released our UKSB Google XML Image Sitemap extension

http://www.opencart.com/index.php?route ... on_id=2881

This extension produces an XML feed for use in Google Webmaster Tools

The feed produces links to all site product images with Titles and Captions (Product Name, Product Description).

Using this can help Google discover images they might not otherwise find (such as images that are reached via JavaScript etc), and also enables you to identify the most important images on your site.

*** This extension is included FREE in our other extension UKSB Google Merchant XML Feed

Updated to work with older versions of OpenCart

Now works with OpenCart versions 1.4.9.x as well as 1.5.x

If you would like this feed for 1.4.8 or 1.4.7 please let me know

Hi there

I've just purchased the merchant base xml and xml site map.

I'm trying to start off with the xml site map.

i've vqmod intalled, OC v1.5.1

I've dragged the xml uksb_google_merchant.xml file into /www/vqmod/xml

I go to extensions > product feeds and I only see the default google sitemap module not the UKSB one as described.

I've tried copying the data feed url from the standard google sitemap into my Google Webmaster submit sitemap area to check: http://www.vintageheirloom.com/index.ph ... le_sitemap

but... I get
Sitemap is HTML
Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.

Can you please help?

Many thanks UKSB ;D

Just replied to your PM, you have missed one vital step - You haven't uploaded the new files from the 'New Files' folder as per the INSTALL-README.txt instructions.
