[vQmod] Advanced Information Pages Hierarchical Top Menu

This vQmod displays your Information Pages and links on the Top Menu next to your Categories

great module. works straight out the box
One slight drawback - it also removed the links from any instance of the information module menus. eg if you have a side menu too. is there a work around for this?

also i cant see how you put external links in. I have version 1.2
what is the difference between this and V1.1?

This vqmod adds all the extra functionality on the top menu (in the header) of your site. To be as generic as possible and not break anything, any place other than the top menu that tries to use the information pages will get the footer items just like it did before installing the mod.
I attached a small patch to add the functionality that you want. Just copy it to your vqmod/xml folder in addition to the original mod.

To add an external link (for example to http://www.opencart.com) create a new information Page
Title: Opencart
In description put the following line (**this is what creates the link. Use the HTML source view to edit the description**)
[redirect abs='http://www.opencart.com']

Then assign this new information page to any place you want in the top menu or leave it at the footer.

Version 1.2 added support to change the relative order of Categories and Information Pages on the top menu.

I couldn't get this to work on a couple of sites, though two sites already have vqmod installed and working for other extensions.

The options just don't appear in the 'information >> page'

What am I doing wrong?!

Hi Kadre,

I have opencart 1.5.6 - do you know if it should work with this version? I'm using kadre_infopages_hierarchical_menu_advanced_1.3.1.xml

I can not see any options in the information page list!?

This is the only plugin I want to use as its so good!

Hello, I have a problem with your module,

when I delete a parent info, throws an error because the "info child" is not the parent category.

example:

Parent - order 2200
Child - order 2201
Child - order 2202

Delete - (Parent - order 2200)

ERROR: Undefined offset: 2200
