If this is already posted I apologize. I couldn't find a post that answered my question.
My current hosting company is Hostgator and my Opencart version is 1.5.4.
I previous had a website, http://www.Pro-Spray.com, using wordpress that worked great with all browsers until I installed the SSL certificate. After I had the SSL installed, the site no longer worked with Internet Explorer.
If I install a SSL on my new Opencart 1.5.4 website, http://www.Greener-Garden.com, will I encounter the same thing with internet explorer? I have numerous customers who visit my site using IE and don't want to loose them by installing the SSL, however, I need to SSL to get my products on to Google Shopping.
I called my hosting company, Hostgator, and was told there isn't much that can be done unless I go and have BIll Gates change it. He said the SSL and Internet Explorer are not compatible.
What should I do? Please help.
Thank you in advance.
Hostgator are talking utter rubbish - so there are no sites that use SSL and work in IE - just how likely is that ?

I sent a PM but I wanted to include this for others as well:
There is a new configuration using CentOS 6 and Open SSL 1.0 that will allow users with cPanel to install multiple SSL under one cPanel account but of course, IE doesn't support this. I wonder if HostGator is using that setup and that's why your SSL is breaking?
