Note: included in this package is also the installation language.
To install OpenCart 2 in German, read the enclosed readme instruction.

Hinweis: um OpenCart 2 in Deutsch installieren zu können, ist die Installationssprachdatei inkludiert.
Mehr dazu im inkludierten readme Text.
Maybe the installation should be in multiple languages?

Yes, it should - but is not.
Because the controllers are not ready for it.
As already written in the internal forum, here is a installer (as a proof-of-concept) where you can add your language easily and select the language during the whole installation process at every page.
Included are also all German settings and demo data - adopt it if you want with your NL language.

Off topic:

Have the extension store proposed changes now gone into effect? It was mentioned early on that with the release of 2.0 the rules were changing.

OK, you're right -- this was my issue, sorry. I figured out what happened: I had overwritten the files during beta testing, so the old versions were still present when I was testing (meaning any code utilizing them still worked). I wasn't doing a fresh installation at every alpha/beta release, which means I didn't pick up on it until I completely deleted the old test store first.

My apologies for causing controversy. :) I've removed the previous conversation to avoid confusing others.

I'm wondering this as well. Is there still the intention to move to a 1-year license? I think that was a good idea.

Great job. glad this is finally out.

Many OpenCart users struggle to find quality extensions. We know how frustrating the need to fix the shop is just because of one poorly coded extension. We created quality OpenCart Extensions, tested by real developers and provide professional support.

Lol not a problem, worried me that things had been renamed though!

The licence topic is still under discussion at the moment, quite a lot is still unclear as to how we do it, when etc. The main issue is basically the choice for sellers I.e you specify the support period and number of installs its allowed etc or just make a hard rule for all - that's not the prefference though.

We are in the process of updating the current demo sites to offer both 1.5.6 and 2.0
Great job guys. I love the responsive design, faster page load, new backend. I have OpenCart 2.0 general overview video for those who wants to look prior to downloading the installation file.

This topic is about the 2.0 release, not about issues.

Please open a upgrade issue topic in the appropriate forum.

I've been playing around with OC2.0 and it is really impressive. Love the admin console, particularly that that is responsive as well - you wouldn't believe how many clients I have that want to log into their store backend from their iPhones.

I know this sounds like an elementary question, but is there a list of the differences from 1.5.6.x to OC2.0?

I can't post or reply in 2.0's Template Support forum (wanted to tell this guy to look for ".breadcrumb" in stylesheet.css:
http://forum.opencart.com/viewtopic.php?f=182&t=132000) - Is access limited there/is there something special about that forum's permissions?
