I have a custom field added in the table oc_product and I wish to export/import that custom field when exporting the products. Can you please guide me on how this can be achieved ? Perhaps point me to the right sections that I need to modify the code to include that custom field ?

Export to Excel works. Nice extension! Easy to use. Only that one issue it seems.
Ignore this message. The Export/Import real error message will be above that one in your OpenCart error.log.Laoyumi wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2019 9:37 amThe following error at import in OC 3.0.3.2:

Have reinstalled the extension today and noticed a new version for 3.0.3.2. Or I fiddled something else, might even have made an error in the spreadsheet.
Important - its working with 3.0.3.2 and makes live so much easier. Thank you
Opencart 3.0.3.2, Import/Export Tool vers. 3.2
Generally the tool drives me crazy but when I look at the error log is is always my fault in the spreadsheet.
This is an issue with the local settings of of operating system or spreadsheet software used. Make sure that '197,198' isn't treated as a decimal number, it has to be a string entry in your spreadsheet software. I recommend using LibreOffice Calc rather than MS Excel.Laoyumi wrote: ↑Tue Jun 25, 2019 1:03 pmMaybe a small issue discovered: When I import products from .xlsx additional related items get stripped. In the field "related_ids" I have the value of "197,198". But only 197 is shown in OC. I have to manually add 198 through the admin interface.

I am on Linux Mint using LibreOffice exclusively. Am very happy with Linux, as easy to use as Windows. But calc can not always replace the shortcomings of the user (me).
Bump.borko471 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 12:05 amHi guys. I'm running OC 1.5.3. My issue is with the 'Limit products export by category:' text field (filtering by Category before exporting). No suggestions show up while I'm typing and even if I type the correct name and press enter, it's no good. I checked a previous answer which said to check for duplicate SEO keywords, which I did and there were none. I'm pretty sure this text box was working when I first installed the module. Could it be because of duplicate Category Names in either language?
I eliminated all duplicate names of the categories in both my languages. I made sure there are no duplicate SEO keywords, either. The filter by category text box is still not working. I'll be glad if someone has any ideas about this so I can at least try something. I'll try removing caches now.
I installed Export/Import Tool on OpenCart v3.0.3.2 and try to import xls with products. During import I'm getting error:
Uploaded spreadsheet file has validation errors!
See also 'System > Tools > Error Logs' for more details.
No server data has been changed.
In error log I got error - 2019-07-17 16:33:59 - Export/Import: Invalid worksheet names
What right structure of products file should be for importing?
Thanks in advance for your answers
With best regards
1. After the installation you have to go to "Extensions - Modifications!". Here you can enable the extension.
2. I exported one manually created article to the spreadsheet. That gave me the ideal template including formatting and column headings. And it shows you which fields need an input, example a 0 despite not really used.
I have the same problem.thileep91@gmail.com wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 5:29 pmI installed module success fully. i have some error export tools work perfect. import tools some error

Is there any reason why you won't sort out the header line in your Products worksheet? The error is quite clear on that. Do an Export first, to see the exact format of the Products worksheet, and then use it.I have the same problem.

Thanks for the great module, I have had no problems using it with various OC versions, however I do want to know if its possible to simply add an extra output column in the exported file? Ideally I need the data shown in the screenshot which is going to be separate stock codes for product options, such as XL Red, XL Blue etc, I need this code to be outputted on the exported CSV so I can easily cross check stock codes to stock levels etc. Hope this is a easy one for you
Thanks in advance
If you send an enquiry via our contact us page then I can work out a quick quote for the necessary modification for adding support of extra field columns to the Export/Import tool. We'd need to know the exact names and types of the extra DB fields to be supported.ZEROS-RRC wrote: ↑Wed Nov 20, 2019 1:08 amHi JNeuhoff
