There seem to be continuing posts about stock levels versus order statuses even when the admin - > catalog - > products page is set to: Yes when configuring the subtract option. Please see the attachment on how to properly configure your admin - > systems - > settings - > add / edit settings - > option tab with your order statuses. Also ensure that your payment extension module(s) from your admin - > extensions - > extensions - > payments(x) also matches the order statuses names from each drop-down menus accordingly.

To test these options, go to your admin - > sales - > orders and create a new order. Take note that an API account is required to be created from your admin - > systems - > users - > API page prior on creating orders, then to ensure your default API settings is selected from your admin - > systems - > settings - > add / edit settings - > option tab, if you don't already have an API account setup.

From your admin - > sales - > orders page, once the order created, select the order status: Cancelled. Then, save the changes after filling an order status history comment. Then, visit your admin - > catalog - > products page and see if the stock level has either reduced or increased on the specific product. Then, go back to the order from the admin - > sales - > orders page again and switch the order status to: Processing. See the stock level value again from your admin - > catalog - > products page on the specific product.

Also take note that the shipped option shows as check marked from the screenshot. This option does not need to be checked if the store does not use shipping options.

There are forum users who are reporting different results of Apache, or similar server library, outputs from phpinfo() when considering server changes. It is highly important for store owners to know that any changes applied specifically is more than highly recommended to be addressed in phpinfo() especially if you're not the ones who have to do it directly but, either, asking your hosting service or a third-party user to apply those changes. Otherwise, hidden information, aside from security, could be involved as you may not be aware yourselves.

Also take note that, asking a third-party user to modify your server settings on a managed server, is a waste of time. You are paying for services via a web host company in order to send incident or service requests. You are, in the mean time, fully responsible for your actions on what is being managed, installed and provided on your domains when it comes to delivering information to other people. Many web hosts do not require server account information in order to make advanced changes to your server configurations since they're already aware they could simply apply those changes on their end either with or without your consent depending on their contract agreement. In addition, take note that account policy and software licensing changes can be modified multiple times every year. If you do receive, and when you do receive, emails from your web host regarding policy changes, if you do not understand them, please contact your host to gather those information. When hiring an Opencart professional, take note that it is not under the responsibility of those professionals to maintain the quality of service of your domains, or the stores, unless specifically being assigned by the store owner / domain user. When a store owner / domain user needs to consider a service change, it is totally up to them to have a full disaster and recovery plan in order to move their content to their new host's environment or request to be done professionally from the Commercial Support section of the forum to maintain their Business assets.

While there are countless posts which regards the Marketing solutions on using the best hosting service for peoples' needs, please use the forum search or Google. You can also take a look at the partners section of opencart.com website for more solutions from the top-middle header menu bar under the Resources drop-down list menu. If there are, however, questions to your answers that's never been answered before or receiving a reply that none of these solutions have been built so far, regarding hosting solutions, forum users are welcomed to post under the Installation, Upgrade, & Config Support which regards to Opencart requirements.

For more information regarding information security provided by your web hosts, please contact their first line of support or visit their web sites. Google can also be used for relevant information. However, take note that search engines could return inaccurate results based on users' opinions, choices and unique experience rather than facts provided by the original hosting source while gathering more information. It is best to contact your host directly either via email, ticket system or by online chat.

Should the store owner / domain user know where to gather their billing account information regarding their hosting access and packages, please review the archived emails and find the most relative one regarding those criteria. If the email message cannot be found, please visit the host's website and use their contact information or contact the billing ownership representative that did initiated the payment transaction with the hosting services being used.

There seem to be a few posts from forum users, regarding the use of other platforms in the same location, where Opencart is being installed. Take note that, without proper and specific configurations to the .htaccess file, OC admin users may have difficulties to login to the admin-end as this behavior is NOT an OC issue.

If using other platforms, within the same OC environment on the file server, is a Business priority; looking on the Marketplace but database and feature integrations would be more ideal. Alternatively, you could always post a new service request in the Commercial Support section of the forum to get your integration done as a custom job.

From time-to-time, it may occur where OC admins may want to set their store under maintenance from their OC admin - > systems - > settings - > edit settings - > Server tab - > Maintenance Mode but the maintenance mode does, either, not respond or it does respond but the maintenance message may still be shown to the admin from the catalog-end side.

To rectify the situation, see this post: viewtopic.php?f=181&t=173152&p=779174#p779174 .
