Hello,
I can't delete a manufacturer even if it's not used in products.
I've always got the message "can't delete manufacturer because being used in xx products"
I'm on OC 3.0.2.
Thanks in advance for your help.

This topic has now been moved to the OpenCart 3.0 Support > General Support section of the forum.

I can't delete a manufacturer even if it's not used in products.
It is assigned to a product trust me, that error is only shown when there is one or more products which have that manufacturer id assigned.

Simply open your database (e.g. phpMyAdmin) goto table product and check the column manufacturer_id
Then you will see which manufacturers are associated.
You can delete these entries then there directly or editing the product itself.

An alternative way would be to use an extension from the Marketplace to use manufacturer filters to ease the tracking points where products are still being associated with manufacturers.

Thanks to your help, I found it. Thank you so much.
In fact all the products of the demo of "Journal3" are present in the table but invisible in OC admin.
This must be due to the installation of an extension but I don't know which one.
So I must delete these demo products directly from the table, but how do I proceed please ?
Can I remove them from the products table?
Simply without any changes in other table ?

As already written: open the database table and click into the field with the manufacturer id.
Replace that value with a 0 and save.
If you are not able to do this simple task, hire a developer.

p.s.: and next time write ALL what you have done and what your are using in the 1st post!

1. if it's a "ghots/hidden" product, why delete it?
2. if you want to delete them, simply do what I have written

Don't make it complicated where it is not.
