I think someone need to make a complete guide for OC update with custom themes.
Software available, I am sure that someone will be willing, to do it.
And OC v.3.0.3.5 is already out, v.3.0.3.6 is now, what they're talking about ...

I'm coming over from oscMax (2.5.4), which had - for a while - a simple upgrade system when newer versions came out. There was a SQL script that updated the database structure as well as copying the changed program files over. You were done in short order and your site was running the 'latest' version of oscMax. Unfortunately I have to assume it wasn't paying enough for developers after a while and revisions simply faded away. Let's hope OC has the better business model!RatnikZnae wrote: ↑Mon Jul 20, 2020 10:35 pmWhat's the correct way to update from 3.0.3.3 to 3.0.3.5 ?
It might work if SQL scripts were made to advance the DB structure from one version to the next, but that isn't in the works that I can see.
So we are left with either figuring it out for ourselves or paying someone to do the DB upgrade for us.
why don't you turn to a developer or an automated migration service? it'll save you lots of time and effort. upgrading stores with automated tools is usually risk free. i did a bunch of migrations using cart2cart. they coped with the job quickly and with no arising issues. you may also try it
